was named after Naples, Italy. The area started as a small fishing village
and beachside resort for
the
well-to-do in the late 1880s. Today, Naples is known for fine beaches,
many golf courses, plenty of upscale shopping areas and a number of
cultural treasures such as the Philharmonic
Center for the Arts.
Shopping in Naples
is a real treat with small boutiques and and shops at Third Street,
Tin City, and Venetian Village as well as large chain and department
stores at Coastland Center Mall and Waterside Shops.

Street is a short walk from the Naples Pier.

and parks found in this area.
Downtown Fifth
Avenue South is home to many fashionable shops, art galleries, and
European bistros.
Tin City is located just
off Fifth Avenue at The Old Marine Marketplace. Here you will find an
indoor maze of over 40 unusual boutiques and eateries.
Naples
boasts of many natural attractions at the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary,
Conservancy, Jungle Larry's Caribbean Gardens, Wiggins State Park
Beach and of course beautiful sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.
